Purpose

To revisit the knowledge and evidence on brain development and how it relates to practice across children's services.

Learning Outcomes
  • To review the Solihull Model of Containment, Reciprocity and Behaviour Management
  • To consider the evidence on brain development in the antenatal period, early years and teenage years.
  • To explore how this knowledge can be integrated to develop understanding and support practice with families
Audience

Nurses, Midwives and Health Visitors who have completed the Solihull Approach 2 day Foundation Course
