To highlight issues relating to menopause for women and develop an awareness of the anatomy and physiology and also the social and psychological issues that relate to this. Discussion re treatments both medical and also alternative

  • To explain the anatomy and physiology relating to the menopause 
  • To gain an understanding of the social and psychological aspects of menopause for women 
  • Gain an awareness of the treatments that are available, both medical and alternative 
  • Role of the health care professional in the provision of treatments
