An introduction to the key principles of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy with the opportunity for application of core skills to enhance person-centred care.

Learning Outcomes
  • Define Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
  • Discuss the key principles of Cognitive Behaviourial Therapy 
  • Identify and apply the relevant interpersonal skills used in CBT and the significance of this to treatment
  • Discuss, explore and apply the Five Part Model to CBT assessment for common mental health conditions
  • Identify and apply CBT tools that can be applicable to your practice
