International Nurse NMC OSCE Preparation Programme for the Test of Competence for Mental Health Nursing

Purpose

To meet the NMC Test of Competence Criteria to register with the UK Nursing and Midwifery Council

Learning Outcomes

• Develop an understanding and have an opportunity to practice assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation scenarios for the NMC Test of Competence for Mental Health Nursing.
• Review and practice physiological observations, nutritional assessment and administration of suppository nursing skills.
• Develop skills in completing written answers to professional values and  evidence based practice OSCE stations.

Internationally Educated Nurses undertaking the NMC Test of Competence for Mental Health Nursing (HSC Trust Nominated Staff Only)

Following this three day CEC programme, participants will undertake mental health specific skills with their HSC Trust International Nurse Facilitation Teams.
