Eating Disorders

Purpose

To enhance the participants’ awareness of issues in relation to the care of the person with an eating disorder

Learning Outcomes

• Explore the profile of the Eating Disorder Services within NI
• Identify and recognise the different types of eating disorders
• Review legal and professional issues in relation to eating disorder treatments
• Discuss a range of psychological interventions that can be helpful in the treatment of eating disorders
