Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) related Attention Difficulties


Purpose

To build confidence and skills of AHPs in delivering interventions for individuals with acquired brain injury (ABI) and associated attention difficulties. 

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this programme participants will be able to:

  • Explain neuroeducation relating to attention
  • Identify the varying types of attention difficulties
  • Develop practical strategies to manage attention deficits

 

Audience

 AHPs working in acquired brain injury services.

** Applicants are encouraged to attend, or to have previously attended, one of the introduction programmes - ABI - Working with Children or ABI - Working with Adolescents

Method

1 day face to face programme offering a mixture of presentation, interactive exercises and discussion.
