Regional CPD Learning Disability Occupational Therapy Workshop (25/26 Programme)


Purpose

To facilitate a learning and sharing day for Occupational Therapists across the region working with adults with a learning disability. 

Learning Outcomes
  • Discuss complex case examples, challenges faced and solutions.
  • Identify recent developments regarding bespoke housing adaptations.
  • Explain the need and identify how impact within LDOT practice can be measured.
  • Analyse emerging themes in LDOT such as restrictive practice, sensory pathway, neuro affirming and trauma informed practice.
  • Explore innovative practice within LDOT across the region.
Audience

Band 5, 6 & 7 Occupational Therapists working in Adult Learning Disability

Method

1-day face to face programme with lectures, interactive workshop and discussions using real case studies.
