STORM© Skills Training (Version 5) in Self-harm and Suicide Prevention (Advanced - 3 Day)


Purpose

STORM Skills Training's vision is to have more effective conversations to help reduce distress and fewer lives lost to suicide 

Learning Outcomes

To discuss, actively observe and practice the skills of:

  • Communication and collaboration
  • Assessment of the psychosocial perspective
  • Assessment of Suicide and self-harm
  • Work towards sharing information
  • Supporting the support network
  • Collaborative formulation 
  • Safety planning
  • Working with challenges to recovery
  • Teaching a problem solving technique
Audience

Professionally registered staff working in Mental Health and Learning Disability

Online or face to face delivery
