RESTORE2 (Recognise early Soft Signs, take observations, respond & escalate).

Purpose

• To enhance the skills of participants in the assessment, recognition, escalation and management of the deteriorating person using the RESTORE2 tool.

Learning Outcomes

• Discussed the importance of the early recognition of the deteriorating person.
• Developed understanding of soft signs and the necessity of observing for soft signs
• Considered what is normal for the person inclusive of their choices
• Explored the significance of the NEWS2 tool, appropriate and timely escalation
