The aim of the intermediate level course is to equip participants with the knowledge and skills to confidently identify, assess, and support individuals at risk of self-harm or suicide. Through a combination of observation, skills practice, and filmed skills practice, participants will develop practical, evidence-based strategies for providing compassionate support, including developing personalised safety plans and facilitating access to specialist support where needed.
