To enhance knowledge and understanding of record keeping standards to support person-centred care.

  • Identify the relevant standards and guidelines pertaining to record keeping
  • Understand the relationship between record keeping and person-centred, safe and effective nursing care
  • Reflect upon their role in existing recording keeping practises and identify areas for improvement
